Report a Small Event

If you want to organize an event, you usually need a permit. An event is an entertainment activity open to the public. For small events, a notification is sufficient.

A notification must be submitted at least 3 weeks in advance.

When you submit your report, you can also submit your request for volunteer assistance, digital information signs, and event panels.

Terms and Conditions

An event is considered a small event if it meets the following criteria:

• This is a one-day event;
• The number of attendees does not exceed 150;
• The event takes place Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and midnight; on Friday, Saturday, or days preceding a public holiday, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.; or on Sunday between 1:00 p.m. and midnight;
• During the event, no amplified sound will be played at a sound level exceeding 70 dB(A) and 83 dB(C), as measured on the facades of surrounding residences. Amplified sound must be reduced to background levels starting at 11:00 p.m., which means a sound level of no more than 50 dB(A) measured on the facades of surrounding residences;
• the event does not take place on the roadway or the moped/bicycle lane, nor does it otherwise obstruct traffic or emergency services; and
• Only small objects with an area of less than 25 square meters per object are placed.

Costs

There is no fee for registering a small event.

Can I promote the event for free?

Register your public event for free in the Uitagenda. Your event will then also be displayed in the UIT Moerdijk app.
