Mauritshuis in Willemstad

The fortified city of Willemstad has everything you need for a traditional wedding. It offers a stunning setting for wedding photos: the harbor, the magnificent fortress, and the ramparts. And, of course, the Mauritshuis—a historic building set in beautiful green surroundings and located almost directly on the water. The Council Chamber on the first floor is used for wedding ceremonies. A maximum of 100 people may be present in the Council Chamber of the Mauritshuis, with 70 seats available (in accordance with the rules in the use permit). Officials from the municipality of Moerdijk will ensure that these limits are not exceeded.
