Independent support provided by volunteers

You have been invited to a “kitchen table discussion” with a consultant from the municipality of Moerdijk, but you would prefer not to attend this meeting alone. If you would like someone to assist you during this meeting, the volunteer client support worker from the municipality of Moerdijk or the client support workers from MEE West-Brabant can help you. This assistance is free of charge. You decide for yourself whether to reach out and to whom.

The municipality of Moerdijk has a client support worker. This is a trained volunteer from your neighborhood. He can help you with simpler questions (compared to the support provided by MEE West-Brabant). For example, if you’re looking for advice or information about an application for Wmo support, or if you want to get a clear picture of your support needs before the kitchen-table meeting. The volunteer, independent client support worker can also explain the kitchen-table meeting to you and join you during the meeting. He offers his advice free of charge and independently of the municipality, always keeping your best interests in mind.

How does it work?

It’s very simple. Contact the client support worker. Together with him, you can then explore your options. Volunteer client support worker Joep is happy to help you with any questions you may have about the Wmo and can explain the kitchen-table discussion to you.

Client Support Specialists at MEE West-Brabant

Because it is important that you receive objective advice, the client support specialists are independent. This means that the client support specialist is truly there for you and is not dependent on the municipality. He or she will help you with your application but will not make the final decision. The client support specialists at MEE West-Brabant can, for example, assist you in areas such as:

  • Work and Income
  • Support Services for Your Child
