Community Gardens
You can rent community gardens from the municipality for a set fee. An agreement is signed for this purpose.
The municipal community gardens are located in:
- Zevenbergen – Schansdijk
- Willemstad – Molenpad/Irene Building, Kloosterblokje, Kazernestraat
- Noordhoek
- Just outside Standdaar – Molendijk near the fire station
- Fijnaart – Julianastraat
- Moerdijk – Frisostraat
Good to Know
- No structures or buildings may be erected on the rented community garden plot. An exception to this rule applies to the community gardens at the Schansdijk complex in Zevenbergen. Whether construction is permitted at this community garden complex depends on the zoning plan and other public legal regulations. Please note that a fee is required to apply for an environmental permit in order to construct a structure. For more information, please contact our permits office.
- You can cancel your allotment lease only in writing. You can do this by sending a letter to the municipality’s general mailing address or by emailing info@moerdijk.nl.
Costs
If you would like to rent an allotment garden from the municipality, you will receive a list of available plots that includes the annual rental price for each plot. You can indicate which plot you prefer.
