Store Hours, Exemption

The Shop Hours Act specifies the days and times when stores must be closed. The municipal council has included several exemptions in theMoerdijk Municipality Shop Hours Ordinance. If you wish to be open outside the established hours, you must apply for an exemption.

Good to Know

In the municipality of Moerdijk, stores may be open from:

• Monday through Saturday between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.;
• on Sundays, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Pentecost Sunday and Pentecost Monday, and Christmas Day and Christmas Monday between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.;
• On Good Friday and May 4, between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., unless May 4 falls on a Sunday. In that case, stores may be open on May 4 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
