Rules for outdoor seating areas, registration of outdoor bars

You may only set up a patio if it is included in your operating permit. Your operating permit also specifies the closing time for the patio.

The rules governing outdoor dining areas are set forth in the Moerdijk Municipality’s Detailed Rules for Outdoor Dining Areas.

Outdoor bar seating

You may set up an outdoor bar on your patio for up to 12 days or half-days per calendar year. To do so, you must submit a notification at least 2 weeks in advance.

These outdoor bars are intended to serve guests who are using the patio or your indoor space. Guests are not supposed to take drinks elsewhere.

Costs

There is no fee for registering an outdoor bar.
