Brabantse Delta Water Authority

The municipality of Moerdijk is located within the so-called management area of the Brabantse Delta Water Board.

The water board ensures effective water management in the area. It is responsible for water levels (including groundwater levels), water quality, and wastewater treatment. The water board also manages flood defenses, such as dikes, and maintains waterways. The work carried out by the water board is funded by the water board tax.
