I want to know if my plan is feasible

You have a plan and want to know if it’s feasible. To find out, you can submit a land-use proposal. You outline your plans in general terms and explain why the municipality should support them. Together, we’ll assess the feasibility. If there are no obstacles, you can then proceed to develop your plan further in order to submit a (draft) application.

The environmental plan serves as the guiding document for determining whether a renovation or activity is permitted. You can find all applicable municipal plans through the national Omgevingsloket.

You can find information about aesthetic guidelines on the Aesthetic Guidelines page. Unfortunately, we do not have the aesthetic criteria available online.

You can request aesthetic criteria specific to your location free of charge atinfo@moerdijk.nl.

You can submit your application using the intake form on the “My Moerdijk” page with your DigiD, or on the “My Moerdijk” page via eHerkenning. To submit a land-use initiative, you must provide at least the following documents:

  • Floor plans of the current situation;
  • (Schematic) floor plans of the proposed layout, including dimensions;
  • A written explanation or justification of your plan;
  • If applicable: authorization from the current landowner.

Feel free to add additional attachments if you have relevant supplementary information, such as a business plan or photos.

Please note: The spatial planning initiative results in a decision in principle; this does not yet constitute a permit. In addition, all correspondence will be sent to you via email (acknowledgment of receipt, request for additional information, and the final letter).

Since the municipality wants to know what your community thinks of your initiative, it may be a good idea to start talking with your community now. You can read more about this on the page“Community Dialogue: How Do I Start a Conversation with My Community?”

You will receive a confirmation of receipt by email immediately after submitting your plan. We aim to review your plan within 8 weeks, depending on the type of plan.

The fee for reviewing your initiative is €106.70 per plan. If you subsequently submit an application for an environmental permit, we will deduct the review fee from the total.
