The link between the community and the municipality

The Wmo Advisory Council provides the municipal executive with advice—both solicited and unsolicited—regarding the Social Support Act (Wmo). This advice covers not only the development of Wmo policy but also the way in which the municipality implements that policy. In this way, they hope to ensure that everyone in the municipality can participate in society. In addition to providing advice, the council also engages in dialogue with the municipality. This includes, for example, regular consultations with the responsible alderman regarding current issues within the municipality. Agreements regarding this have been formalized in a covenant. What does the Wmo Advisory Council not do?

The Wmo Advisory Council is not intended to address your individual questions regarding the Wmo. Of course, they would like to know what you’re going through. This allows them to learn from your experiences and take them into account in their recommendations.
