Truck Parking Lot

Within the built-up area of the municipality of Moerdijk, there is a parking ban for trucks, as stated in the implementing decree. In the town center of Zevenbergen (Koekoeksedijk), the municipality has constructed a fenced-in parking lot as an alternative. There is also a fenced-in parking lot in Fijnaart (operated by the foundation).

Truck drivers who live in the municipality of Moerdijk but work outside of it can rent a parking space here. Self-employed truck drivers with no more than one truck who do not have their own business premises are also eligible to rent a parking space.

There is currently a waiting list, but you can still submit an application. We will contact you automatically when a spot becomes available.

You should submit your application to the municipality, after which the municipality will process your application and check whether there is still space available in the parking lot in question. Due to the time it takes to process your request, please submit your application well in advance! To use the truck parking lot, you must sign a usage agreement. This agreement stipulates, among other things, that you must pay a security deposit and rent. Once the security deposit has been paid, a pass and a key will be issued for the parking space in question.

Cancellation in Zevenbergen

Please send your notice of termination of the user agreement in writing to the municipality, after which the municipality will process your notice. Please include your bank account number in your notice so that the deposit for the key can be refunded. In addition, please specify the effective date of termination so that an appointment can be scheduled for returning the access card and the key.

You pay for your parking space for the entire year. If you cancel your parking space agreement before the end of the year, you will not receive a refund.

Costs

The fee for using a truck parking space is: €375.28.

The fee is adjusted annually based on a price index. If you cancel your contract for a spot before the end of the year, you will not receive a refund. If you sign a contract for a spot during the year, you will not pay for the entire year but only for the remaining months.
