Terms and Conditions
- You live in the blue zone in downtown Zevenbergen
- You can only apply for an exemption for the address where you live.
- You must apply for the exemption yourself for a motor vehicle with more than two wheels
- The motor vehicle must be registered in your name
- If you own a leased or company car, you must provide a statement from the vehicle’s registered owner (company or leasing company)
- You do not have your own parking space on your own property
- Are you applying for a new permit? If so, please first return your old permit to the municipality; you will then receive the new permit.
Temporary Exemption
The following conditions apply to a temporary exemption:
- The applicant demonstrates that the company—which, according to the Commercial Register, is not located within the Zevenbergen parking disc zone—must carry out work in the blue zone
- The applicant demonstrates that this work can only be performed by parking the vehicle in the relevant zone for more than 2 hours
- One exemption is granted per license plate
- A temporary exemption is valid for one month.

The blue zone is in effect Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The maximum parking time is two hours; you must place a parking disc in plain view behind your windshield.
You can then park your car in the long-term parking spaces outside the blue zone, including the Kasteeltuin (200 parking spaces) and at the beginning of Kerkstraat (40 parking spaces).
If you have a disability parking permit, you are exempt from the blue zone. You may park for an unlimited time as long as the permit is displayed on the windshield. Therefore, an exemption is not required. This is stipulated in Article 85 of the 1990 National Regulations on Traffic Rules and Traffic Signs.
The blue zone is for motor vehicles with more than two wheels; therefore, motorcycles are exempt.
It is not possible to apply for an exemption for your children.
An exemption must be requested for motor vehicles with more than two wheels; a caravan is therefore exempt. A camper, however, does require an exemption.
That is not possible. Due to the limited number of parking spaces in the city center, please park your car in the long-term parking lots, such as the Kasteeltuin.
