The Moerdijk Industrial Park is separated from the residential area by a green belt. Behind that green belt lies one of the most modern industrial parks in the world, which employs approximately 5,000 people. The site has a gross area of 2,600 hectares and includes four ports. The industrial park is divided into six zones. Similar businesses are located close to one another, which fosters collaboration. The Industrial Park is the largest subarea of the industrial park. It was developed for chemical and heavy industrial activities. Companies such as Basell, Shell, and Dr. Kolb are located there. Moerdijk also has a large seaport, Seaport Moerdijk, where seagoing vessels with a draft of up to 8.40 meters can enter. For companies engaged in the storage, transshipment, processing, and distribution of general cargo and containers, a modern central transshipment terminal is connected to an internal rail line leading to the companies located behind it. A special section of the industrial park is the Ecopark, home to companies active in environmental and energy technology. AZN, SNB, and EPZ are among those located there.

Distriboulevard Moerdijk is intended for road-dependent European distribution and manufacturing companies that seek a prestigious location and want to be easily accessible. Europark Moerdijk is primarily intended for distribution centers of large companies that can take full advantage of Moerdijk’s central location between the major ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp and the Schiphol and Zaventem airports.

The Moerdijk Service Point, a hub for business service providers, rounds out the industrial park.

The Dintelmond regional industrial park is located on the western edge of the municipality.

Dintelmond covers a gross area of approximately eighty hectares. Dintelmond is located on the Volkerak at the mouth of the small river Dintel and is accessible from the Scheldt-Rhine Canal. Via Hellegat, the industrial park is connected to the Haringvliet and the Hollandsch Diep. A small inlet harbor with a maximum depth of 4.5 meters provides water access to the site. The lock at the end of the harbor provides passage to the hinterland via the Dintel. On the north side, the site connects to the A29. Future plans call for a direct connection to Rotterdam and Antwerp via the Zoomweg-Noord and the A4. The site employs approximately 1,500 people. Several relatively large companies are based there, such as ArcelorMittal, Zuid Nederlandse Staalbouw, and Maltha Glasrecycling. The Dintelmond revitalization project was completed in 2007. A potential expansion of the site is not currently under consideration.
