Basic Grant 2026
Unfortunately, the deadline for applying for a basic grant for 2026 has passed. You had until October 31, 2025, to submit this application to us.

Terms and Conditions
To be eligible for a Basic Grant, a volunteer organization must be engaged in one of the following objectives:
- participation in sports
- cultural practice
- youth participation
- civic participation
For example, religious or political volunteer organizations cannot apply for a basic grant.
In addition to the basic grant described above, it is possible to qualify for a Plus Grant. Plus Grants are awarded for activities that contribute to:
- Sports (e.g., tournament/event), culture (e.g., performance), youth, seniors, education;
- Participants with disabilities / G-team;
- Beautify the town center / clean up litter;
- Volunteers provide assistance and support to residents with disabilities or their informal caregivers.
Detailed Rules for the Basic Grant for Volunteer Organizations
Requests
When: The application for the Basic Grant must be received by us before November 1 (of the year preceding the grant year).
Who: A volunteer organization (an association or foundation with no paid staff).
What: Please make sure you can upload your most recently approved annual financial statements.
You will also need an eHerkenning. Applying for an eHerkenning takes a few business days, so be sure to do this well before November 1.
